Quiche (Psych Pop-Rock) - Artist Discovery

The spotlight for today is firmly focused on Glasgow based Psychedelic Rockers, Quiche!

Each member of this up and coming six piece brings something special to the table to create a strong and distinguishable sound - harmoniously, and uniquely, fusing an array of Rock/Pop/Indie influences to provide a rich blend of sweet sounding melodies, a tightly oiled rhythmic section and tunefully catchy vocal hooks.

Hailing from different parts of the world, the group came together in Glasgow (Scotland) - collaboratively connecting with one another on that creative wave. Before long, Quiche was born...

Having been releasing music since 2018, the exciting six piece have already had quite the journey - playing festivals and showcases such as XpoNorth, Belladrum Tartan Heart, Eden Festival, Tenement Trail and touring the UK supporting fellow Glasgow based band, Catholic Action.

2019 saw the band release their first single Grey Matter via First Run Records to a wealth of positive review. The track was selected as one of Tenement TV's "Top 50 Tracks of the Year" and saw its inclusion in Spotify's "Hot New Bands" and "Our Generation" playlists.

Roll in 2020 and Quiche show no signs of slowing down...

Coronavirus aside, it has been a very good year for the band already so far - starting the year on a high having been chosen by BBC Scotland DJ Vic Galloway as one of"25 Scottish Artists to Watch in 2020".

The start of the year saw the release of their audibly pleasurable EP, 'Cardboard Sunset' and a headline show at one of Glasgow's finest venues, King Tuts Wah Wah Hut, as a part of their King Tut's New Year Revolution - showcasing some of Scotland's most exciting emerging artists.
