Pylon Heights (Alternative/Indie Rock) - Artist Discovery

The focus of todays Artist Discovery is firmly fixed on Alt/Indie Rockers, Pylon Heights!

The group have been going from strength to strength spreading their satisfyingly enjoyable sound, culminating in their latest EP 'The Arizona EP' which dropped just yesterday (7th July)!

Pylon Heights fuses the creative strengths of Jon Sandman and Chris Crowther.

Established back in 2016, the pair began their collaborative connection in the wake of a few back-garden-based music festivals hosted close to home, the picturesque UK market town of March (Cambridgeshire).

The two piece have been developing their sound and style ever since, to date releasing a few satisfyingly good singles and their recent EP...

And it get's better with work on their debut album well under way!

Their latest offering to the world is an exhilaratingly enjoyable five track EP, 'The Arizona EP', released just yesterday (7th July)

The name sake track on the new EP, 'Arizona', delivers an authentically heartfelt and emotively moving listening experience from start to finish - making use of strong dynamics, well crafted instrumentation and a contagiously pleasing vocal performance...

Bringing 'The Arizona EP' to a close is the 01:56 minute song, 'Outro'. With the boys currently working hard on their debut album - working title 'The Information Era' - the talented duo designed the track as a lead into the forthcoming album sound wise.

The new album promises a fresh, exciting chapter in the bands journey - more of a synth driven, electronic vibe in contrast to the acoustic Americana feel of 'The Arizona EP'.

And to conclude todays Artist Discovery, I leave you with Outro as a glimpse of what we can expect next from these gifted up and coming musicians...
