Manalishi (Rock/Punk/Alternative) - Artist Discovery

The focus of todays Artist Discovery is firmly upon Manchester based three piece, Manalishi.

By fusing together an attitude driven blend of Rock/Punk/Grunge - full of thick, raw sounding guitar tones mixed with an energetically charged rhythm section and powerful lead vocals - this up and coming band have devotedly crafted a strong and defining sound for themselves...

Following the release of their debut single, 'Standard Paranoia', in the latter part of 2017, the up and coming musicians have been making waves across the UK music scene, spreading their high octane and contagiously unique sound.

Since that first record, the band have gone on to release two more satisfyingly agreeable singles, a solid debut EP and embarked excitingly intimate UK tour - further strengthening their skills along the way.

Flash forward to 2020 and it's time for an exciting new chapter in the bands lifetime, with the recent release of their latest single 'What's in Your Head?' on 3rd April...

The deliciously beefy track, recorded by Ding Archer at 6dB Studios (mastered by Christophe Bride), provides an enjoyable experience for the listener - with each member giving a strong and committed performance.

Together, bassist Josh Urpi and drummer Luke Moloney ride a thick and big sounding rhythmic wave, firmly locking in with one another to create a backbone full of natural feel and live character.

Frontman duties are handled ever so skilfully by vocalist/guitarist Dom Strett, who showcases dynamically pleasing, grunge-esk vocals through engaging lyrics and hard hitting hooks.

We think that these Alt Punk Rockers have a long and successful journey ahead, and cannot wait to hear more!
