Todays Artist Discovery, Alt Pop singer songwriter JJ Bloom, combines elements of Pop, Funk, Soul and R&B to create a uniquely distinguishable sound full of commercial potential.
Having recently released his debut single, the future looks very bright for this Irish born musician - real name Conor McQuaid. It is, however, fair to say that he's already had a quite a journey so far...

Conor is no stranger to the music & entertainment industry, you see, having previously been in the impressive Irish production, Dúlamán. The show centred around four vocalists (featuring Conor) and a troupe of dancers performing both traditional and modern Irish songs. A truly magical experience.
It saw great success, particularly in Germany where the talented young performers reached the live TV finals of Das Supertalent - a part of Simon Cowell's worldwide Got Talent group. This led to a contract with music and entertainment industry giants, Sony Music Entertainment.
Conor has also co-written songs with Irish pop artist Jake Carter, as well as yet to be released tracks with French artists Le trottoir d’en face and John Linhart - drawing inspiration from artists such as Hall & Oates, The Style Council and Tom Misch, who he states as his main sources of influence.
Conor has recently entered a new chapter in his life, embarking on a solo adventure with the recent release of his debut single 'Always You' on 10th April 2020. The track has an upbeat Pop feel to it - with tight and groovy instrumentation, funky guitar licks and a contagiously catchy chorus...
