Todays Artist Discovery features London based Pop Punk 4 piece, DoubleA. The group combine catchy guitar riffs, a strong rhythmic backline and infectious vocal hooks to create a nostalgic yet still refreshing take on the classic Pop Punk sound.
Formed in 2019, the band is comprised of life long friends Adam Krstic (vocals & guitar), Griffin James (vocals & guitar), Lindsay Craig (bass) & Rich Alexander (drums).
The band released their debut single 'I Love To Dance (But I Hate This Song)' on 9th November 2019.
The music video was written & directed by the bands very own Adam Krstic & Griffin James "as a love letter to the cinematic MTV noughties era...with a 2019 viral twist". The boys were assisted by a talented team - Matthew J Hicks (Director of Photography), Micheal Roe (Assistant Director) & Richard Taylor (Editing & Animation).

DoubleA kicked of 2020 with their first London headline show, hosted by Live A Little Louder Music, at The Fiddlers Elbow on January 18th. The boys impressively sold this out - giving a energetic and memorable performance on the night, producing a huge sound.
The band had been scheduled in for a string of live shows this Summer but, much like far too many bands currently, have had to postpone these due to the recent Coronavirus outbreak. Not all is as bad as it seems, though!
Not easily deterred, the group have put together a bunch of comedy shorts - posted to their social media - to provide their following with some much needed laughter and entertainment at this difficult time. We definitely recommend you take a look at their parody of Metro Stations 2007 hit 'Shake It'!
The future looks bright for this upcoming band - with new music, videos and content on the way. DoubleA are certainly one band worth adding to your radar!
