Talented American musician Clint Lowery has blessed us all with a surprise EP,'Grief & Distance', released on 12th June 2020 through Rise Records!
Recorded entirely whilst in quarantine amidst the current Coronavirus pandemic at Sawhorse Studios, the new five track EP delivers a satisfyingly well written follow up to Lowery's debut full length solo album 'God Bless the Renegades' - which was released in January 2020.
The seasoned songwriter/performer/producer is no stranger the world of music - best known for his work as guitarist and vocalist for GRAMMY® Award-nominated rock/metal powerhouse Sevendust as well as playing in the bands Dark New Day, Call Me No One, and Hello Demons Meet Skeletons.
'Grief & Distance' features three brand new songs alongside acoustic versions of'What's The Matter' and 'Kings' from January released debut solo album.
Inspired by a difficult time in his life, the musician found solace within his music whilst in quarantine - using his skilful songwriting strengths to create a powerful sounding and authentically heartfelt release...
"This EP was my way to process the loss of my mother, and the hard hit and the uncertainty of my livelihood from the pandemic,"' Lowery says. "I escaped into my basement and into the songwriting process...it never fails me."
