No one is immune from mental health issues. It's something that can affect all of us at one time or another. Performers and those who work within the music industry are, of course, no exception.
In fact, there is a body of evidence that shows how much of a negative impact working within the music industry can have on mental health.
You don't have to be a huge megastar to face these kind of issues and, as we all know, it seems to be coming increasingly common amongst people from all areas of the industry - after all we're only human!
The welfare of those within the industry is hugely important and it is essential that we all try to play our part in being there for one another.
If you are struggling in any way with mental health, please reach out to your colleagues, friends, family or GP to talk about it.
